As buildings fundamentally impact people’s lives and the health of the planet, our
mission is to create a positive impact on the region’s built environment. Through the
consensus process, and by drawing on the experience of stakeholders in the development,
design, construction, manufacturing, and property management industries, we will:
- Promote cost effective design, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings that
are healthy places to live and work, environmentally responsible, energy efficient, and
cost effective. -
Serve the South Carolina Chapter members and our communities through the
development of standards, design practices, advocacy, information exchange, and
education.
-
Encourage a widespread acceptance of LEED certified buildings.
