LEED AP Study Groups

The Grand Strand Branch of the USGBC South Carolina Chapter is pleased to offer a LEED AP Study Group for individuals interested in preparing to take the LEED AP exam. Classes will be held every Wednesday night from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Topic: Where LEED Meets Life Cycle: Best Practices O&M - Join us in Greenville as we bring our focus to indoor air quality and the impact of your in-house or contracted cleaning and facility maintenance providers to the overall performance of your building. We will learn simple measures that meet or exceed LEED-EBOM requirements and reap big rewards. These stragegies apply whether you are certifying a building or looking to improve environmental quality, reduce the waste stream and conserve energy and water.

This program is ideal for the building owner, property manager, facilities manager, architect, designer and any contractor who share responsibility for the life cycle performance of a residential, commercial or industrial building.

Details: Speaker: Sharon Hon, Sales and Relationship Manger with Top Level Mangement Services, Inc. Sharon has been heavily involved with the USGBC-SC Upstate Branch since its inception, and is dedicated to finding, following and sharing best practices for sustainable building operations.

Cost: No Meeting Fee. Lunch Cost: $20 guests / $15 chapter members / $10 students (w/ID).
