Membership in the Chapter is for individuals, whereas membership in USGBC national is for companies,
organizations, institutions, etc. Membership in a Branch is through, but neither separate from nor in
addition to, membership in the SC Chapter.
Chapter Membership Levels
Full Member |
To become a Full Member of the SC Chapter, a person must work for an organization,
company, institution, etc. that is a Member in good standing with USGBC national. |

Associate Member |
Individuals who do not work for a USGBC Member company are invited to join as Associate
Members. |
|
Emerging Green Builder (EGB) |
Full-time students or young professionals having recently (within 5 years) graduated are
encouraged to join the SC Chapter as Emerging Green Builders. |

You will need to register on the USGBC national website in order to join
through their online system. At the login page, click “Register” to create a new
account. Go to www.usgbc.org/youraccount.

SC Chapter Member (Individual) |
|
|
|
You will need to join the SC Chapter as a Full or Associate Member or
Emerging Green Builder on the USGBC national website through their online
system. If you are already a registered customer, log on to order membership. If
you are not registered on the USGBC national website, click “Register” at the
login page, to create a new account. Go to www.usgbc.org/youraccount.
