USGBC SC Chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed under the law.

Chapter Annual Sponsorships

The Chapter collaborates with a limited number of corporate leaders in green building and sustainable development in South Carolina, whose values align with USGBC South Carolina, to address the ongoing and rapidly expanding needs and demands of the green building and sustainable business industries.  USGBC- SC Chapter sponsors have the opportunity to:

• develop new business and collaborative opportunities
• stand out in a competitive marketplace
• connect to leading decision makers and change agents who are shaping the economic and environmental future of our region
• work in concert with staff, committees, our board and membership to shape the work of the chapter

Branch Program Sponsorship Opportunities

USGBC-South Carolina’s branch network is a critical part of the organization. Branches are made up of the Chapter’s local volunteers, green building leaders and emerging professionals. Each branch hosts regular monthly programs throughout the year.

Sponsoring a branch program is a terrific way for companies to support green building in their local communities. While specific sponsorship needs may vary from month to month, they typically range from $250 to $750.  Sponsorship levels are outlined below. See benefits and more details here.

Regenerative Sponsor: $750

Sustainable Sponsor: $250

Chapter Individual Donor Opportunities

We invite South Carolina citizens to support our Chapter’s activities as an Individual Donor. Making an individual donation to our Chapter is a commitment to support leading-edge green building education, provide service opportunities to enhance South Carolina communities, and support advocacy efforts to effect change at the policy level. Your generous, tax-deductible contribution lends critical funding support to help us fulfill our mission of transforming the building industry toward sustainability. Donors at the $100 or greater level automatically become members of the Evergreen Society of USGBC South Carolina, and are recognized on our Chapter website.
